SCD-20 20 Mb/s SBus Configurable DMA Interface [Engineering Design Team Inc (EDT)]

The SCD-20 utilizes Direct Virtual Memory Access (DVMA) to achievetransfer rates to/from memory up to 20 MB/s. The user interface issynchronous, that is all data and control signals are sampled with aclock transmitted along with the data and control signals. This clockmay be generated by the DMA interface or the user device or both. Allsignals are differential using RS422 specifications.The user interface flow control protocol is implemented in a RAM basedprogrammable gate array. The SCD-20 includes a versatile,straightforward protocol but optional customer specific protocols may bedeveloped.The SCD-20 comes with device driver with example programs. Driver sourcecode is available as an option.
